Marsharne Sullivan - NCCA Board Certified Christian Counselor
I am a teacher at heart. I love helping others solve their problems and setting goals as a means to help the client see themselves as God sees them and the plans he has for them according to Jeremiah 29:11. I believe counseling should be a place of safety, truth, and hope. It is not a place of judgment, but rather a place to journey with the client through their darkest moments and help them find the truth, the light, and the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. I strive to bring my clients hope by encouraging them and helping them to discover their God given temperament and recognize the truth of who they are and the purpose they have. I also aim to help them find joy by providing them with tools to live a life of peace, joy, and contentment. I also believe in the importance of prayer in counseling. Prayer is an essential part of counseling, as it is the most direct and powerful way to connect with God. Therefore, I incorporate prayer in my counseling sessions, as it is a powerful tool for healing. I pray with my clients, for their growth and healing, and for their protection and guidance. My goal is to provide counseling services that bring healing, hope, and wholeness to those who seek them. I strive to be a compassionate and understanding counselor, and to provide a safe space for clients to be free to express themselves and find healing. My hope is that I can help others to find the truth, peace, and joy that comes from knowing God and His love. Through my counseling services, I hope to help others to find the courage to face their struggles and direct them with the help of God’s grace and mercy.
